Amandier - Chardonnay tasted by Bettane & Desseauve
Vignerons Ardéchois, Amandier, IGP ardèche blanc 2017
In 1967, the twelve cellars came together to form the Vignerons Ardéchois winery as we know it today. Since then, it has never stopped progressing and has now reached a high level. The entry-level vintages as well as the great wines benefit from an excellent sense of marketing. Well occupied with 6,000 hectares of vines, the winery does not forget to commit itself to a virtuous agriculture and sensitive to the protection of biodiversity. A thousand winegrower families work with the same passion in a concern for unity and mutual aid. The strength of numbers allows great things to happen and above all to do well. Here is the proof.
The wine?
A solar chardonnay, greedy, fresh and digestible, with a pleasant slightly buttered nose. It's easy to come back to it. That's all we ask.
The detail?
All the parcel selections in the winery are named after a tree. An excellent mnemonic for finding one's way through this very wide range.
